Chevalier Summer Concert: MastaDonis Project

Thursday, August 16, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

The Chevalier Summer Concert Series concludes at the Condon Band Shell with The MastaDonis Project featuring Adonis Martin.

Martin has been playing music his entire life, performing in the Boston area in intimate venues like his grandfather’s church to well-known jazz and R& B clubs like Wally’s in Boston and Beat Brasserie in Cambridge. As he explains, “I use my love for music history and my vivid imagination to create an interactive atmosphere” and “I paint musical pictures of my own life experiences from the struggles to triumphs.”

The band will also feature vocalist Melissa Bolling, as well as Anthony Nembhard on bass, Miguel Diaz on guitar, and Matt Williams on drums.

Grab dinner at the Medford Farmers Market, taking place at the Condon Shell Park from 3 to 7 p.m., or bring your own food, a blanket and enjoy great music along the banks of the Mystic River!

The free concerts are being presented by the Chevalier Auditorium Commission with the support of Bill Blumenreich Presents (the Chevalier Theatre operator); the Friends of Chevalier Auditorium and Gene Mack Gym; the Arts Alive Medford Foundation; Doug Carr and Donna Laquidara-Carr; Mike Oliver and Beverly Cohen; Mayor Stephanie Burke; Rep. Christine Barber; Sen. Pat Jehlen; Rep. Sean Garballey; Rep. Paul Donato; and Paul Solano.
