Chevalier Summer Concert: Julie Rhodes

FreeThe Chevalier Summer Concert Series continues at the Condon Band Shell with blues-rocker Julie Rhodes and her band.
Rhodes was crowned “New Artist of the Year” at the 2016 Boston Music Awards, and won “Female Vocalist of the Year” and “Americana Artist of the Year” honors at the 2017 Boston Music Awards. Rhodes tours throughout the country and internationally, and her most recent album, entitled Bound to Meet the Devil, has received critical acclaim. She has been compared to blues legends Etta James, Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt.
Grab dinner at the Medford Farmers Market, taking place at the Condon Shell Park from 3 to 7 p.m., or bring your own food, a blanket and enjoy great music along the banks of the Mystic River!
The third and final concert of the series will feature The MastaDonis Project featuring Adonis Martin on August 16.
The free concerts are being presented by the Chevalier Auditorium Commission with the support of Bill Blumenreich Presents (the Chevalier Theatre operator); the Friends of Chevalier Auditorium and Gene Mack Gym; the Arts Alive Medford Foundation; Doug Carr and Donna Laquidara-Carr; Mike Oliver and Beverly Cohen; Mayor Stephanie Burke; Rep.
