The Medford Public Library invites you to a performance by award-winning classical guitarist Francesco Barone in Bonsignore Hall. Barone has performed throughout the United States as a soloist and chamber musician. He has been presented at guitar festivals and societies in New England including the Connecticut Guitar Society, New England Guitar Society and Hartt School Guitar Festival. He has also performed nationally through the classical music startup Groupmuse, and was a prizewinner in the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society Guitar Competition. He received Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from The Hartt School, University of Hartford, where he studied with Richard Provost. Barone is the author of “Chord Companion,” a guitar method that applies pedagogy sequencing to learning chords. Reserve your seat through the library’s online calendar.
