Climate Change Book Group: Flight Behavior

Free“Planet and Pages,” the Medford Public Library’s Climate Change Book Group, meets to discuss “Flight Behavior” by Barbara Kingsolver. Set in the fictional town of Featherstown, in the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee, the book explores the ripple effects of climate change in the least expected places.
Led by green entrepreneur Clare Flaherty, owner of Trove Green Provisions in Medford Hillside, the group reads both non-fiction and fiction books about climate change and explores topics such as global warming, plastic pollution, environmental inequity, and proposed solutions to combat their effects. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month. Books will be available at the circulation desk upon request.
