Closing Reception: More Than Acquaintances

Arts Collaborative Medford invites you to a closing reception with artist Michael Talbot for his exhibition, “More Than Acquaintances,” on display in ACM’s first-floor gallery space. Talbot’s work explores the delicately intertwined relationship between life and death through the lens of an old man living with his young daughter, as they traverse endless fields of flowers engulfed by the vast night sky.
The reception will include a brief artist recap and talk about the show, as well as a raffle for one of the pieces on display. A portion of the proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Missions of Virtue, a nonprofit that donates food, clothing, and everyday necessities to the women and their families in Jamaica who are struggling and need them, as well as provides sponsorship for these women to further their education and/or begin their own businesses.
