The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint at River’s Edge welcomes Cold Car, the acoustic duo of guitarist Ken Carter and bassist Leah Lodato. Cold Car performs Carter’s original folk/rock style compositions; his offerings are rhythmic with contagiously catchy melodies. Lodato’s bass playing bellows out the bottom end, and both trade off tasteful lead vocal lines and harmonies. Cold Car released a quarantined EP in 2020, “TheNow” which showcases Cold Car and friends as a full band and can be found on all streaming platforms.
