Colleen’s of Medford Square presents a pop-up featuring the Loving Little Minds Home Library Project, a Medford-based early literacy nonprofit focused on bringing multicultural children’s books to kids ages birth to 6. Organizers believe in the power of representation and diversity, and that every child deserves to be a main character. There will be a display of some of the diverse picture books LLM has highlighted over the years, each available for $5. All money raised will go toward advanceing LLM’s mission of increasing access to diverse children’s books. During the pop-up, monthly book subscriptions also will be offered for $12 a month (40% off of the regular price). And there will be a book reading and craft around 1:30 p.m.
