The City of Medford continues its summer concert series at the Condon Band Shell with a performance by Lydia Harrell and her band. Harrell is equally comfortable singing jazz standards as well as rocking out on Stevie Wonder songs or playing her own jazzy-folk songs on her ukulele. In 2015, she won the Duke Ellington Jazz Vocal Competition; in 2016 she performed at the Apollo Theater in Harlem; and in 2017 she won the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival Voice Competition.

Grab dinner at the Medford Farmers Market, taking place at the Condon Shell Park from 3 to 7 p.m., or bring your own food, a blanket and enjoy great music along the banks of the Mystic River!

The final concert in the series will feature Kevin So on Thursday, August 29.
