The City of Medford continues its free Condon Shell Summer Concert series with the Cheryl Arena Band. Arena sizzles with excitement as she mesmerizes audiences with her sultry voice and powerhouse energy. She is a triple threat — a great songwriter, vocalist, and plays the harmonica like there’s no tomorrow. In her 30+ year career she has shared the stage with many well known Blues artists such as Junior Wells, RL Burnside, Honey Boy Edwards, Charlie Musselwhite, James Cotton, Duke Robillard, Louisiana Red, Lazy Lester, Candye Kane, Johnny Clyde Copeland, Smokin Joe Kubek & Bnois King, Sonny Rhodes, Pinetop Perkins, Luther “Guitar Jr.” Johnson, Johnny Rawls, Big Jack Johnson, Kenny Neal, Bob Margolin, Ronnie Earl, Buddy Miles, Janiva Magness, Ann Rabson, Junior Watson, Big Bill Morganfield, Anson Funderburgh, Sam Myers and more.

Bring a chair or blanket and a picnic, or stop by the Medford Farmers Market to grab some food. There will also be a beer garden. The final concert in the series will feature the vintage rock band Say Darling on Thursday, September 12 (postponed from June 20 due to weather).
