The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint welcomes back Coywolf Johnson for an evening of  blues, spirituals and protest music. The band’s unusual instrumentation — vocals, bass, drums, fiddle and blues harp — creates a dark, sparse texture perfectly suited to boxcar ghost stories, murder ballads and old testament stories of redemption. Members are Heather Grunwald on blues harp,  Tom Swafford on fiddle, Penny Larson on drums, and Hendrik Gideonse on bass and vocals.
