Are you a crafter looking to freshen up your supplies? Participate in the Medford Public Library’s Craft Supply Swap, taking place an hour before today’s Maker Fair. Here’s how it works: Bring new or gently used arts and crafts materials to the library on Friday, August 23 (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) or Saturday, August 24 (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) to swap for new-to-you supplies. Only arts and crafts-related items will be accepted. Suggested items include yarn, decorative paper, fabric scraps, paints, beads, etc. Use the friend rule — please only donate items in a condition good enough that you’d give it to a friend. Then, come to today’s Supply Swap to replenish your supplies. Note: Donations are not required to participate in the Swap, but donors will be given a numbered ticket and will be able to shop the Swap first.
