The Click Boston brings Dance & Cake: A Community Movement Party to the Condon Shell. People of all ages and abilities are invited to play games and dance as a family in this birthday party-themed event — no dance experience necessary. There also will be a sneak preview of The Click’s newest live dance work, “Edge of Aquarius,” which will explore the rituals, controversies, history and anxieties that plagues modern birthdays. The workshop will be facilitated by choreographer Alexandria Nunweiler, with support from “Edge of Aquarius” cast members Angelina Benitez, Katrina Conte and Kristin Wagner. Free admission; donations accepted. RSVP is required through Eventbrite. Presented with support from the Medford Arts Council.

The Click is an experiment in organization, connection, and collaboration among a group of like-minded creative spirits living, making, teaching, studying, and/or existing in the Greater Boston area. It is  a group of contemporary dancers operating within a lateral power structure to create and present meaningful and accessible arts experiences. The Click contributes to the cultural vitality of our communities via education, performance, and engagement.
