The Tufts University Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies invites you to an afternoon of Kathak dance, one of the eight major forms of Indian classical dance and the classical dance form of Uttar Pradesh. Facilitated by faculty artist Gretchen Hayden, the event will feature performances by Kathak dancer Shefali Jain, and Hindustani musicians Jayanta Banerjee and Satyaprakash Mishra. Free and open to the public; no tickets required. Note: Visitors attending events on campus are required to be vaccinated and boosted, if eligible, and may be asked to show proof of vaccination.
