First Baptist Church of Medford continues its spring concert season with a performance by violinist Dorisiya Yosifova, accompanied by Miles Goldberg on piano.

Bulgarian-born Yosifova is a passionate musician and teacher. She holds a bachelor of music degree from Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and a master of music degree from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She has performed as concertmaster and principal second violinist with various ensembles, including orchestras at the Boston Conservatory, Oberlin Conservatory, Round Top, and Eastern Music Festival. As a soloist, Yosifova earned two awards in the 2018 “Great Composers Competition” series: first prize at the international “Best Mozart Performance,” competition, and second prize in the “Music of America” division.

She will perform works by Telemann, Brahms, Mozart, Bach and Kreisler.
