Arts Collaborative Medford invites you to an opening reception for “Scavengers,” a showcase and pop-up library celebrating the resourcefulness of artists, their ability to use anything as a tool for creating, and their drive to create anywhere and everywhere. Scavengers know that anything can be made into art, creating a world based on community resource rather than exclusion. This exhibition, organized by artists Dominique Litif-Nelson and PHEEBZ, includes sketchbooks, objects, signs, and stickers by 30 artists. It is a celebration of outsider artists who don’t rely on the systems in place in order to create. They can bring their passion anywhere and everywhere, in turn bringing art to anyone and everyone.
