This month’s art exhibition at the Medford Public Library is “Mixed Media Medley,” featuring a bright and uplifting medley of flavors (media) from four budding artists who are linked as friends and family. Textile artist Becky Lossing creates topographic Boston landscapes and bright touch-and-feel animals. Photographer Rebecca LeSaffre captures colorful New England landscapes and quiet moments. Collagist Courtney DeWolfe creates textured works that blend color, form, and found objects into whimsical compositions. And mixed media artist Grace Noblet transforms ordinary items into timeless pieces using a variety of artistic facets, bold colors, and wearable art; she aims to reimagine the everyday through the eyes of nostalgia. All will be on display in the library’s second-floor gallery throughout January during regular library hours.
