Film and Discussion: Screenagers
Thursday, February 15, 2018 @ 6:30 pm
FreeThe Medford High School/Medford Technical High School Parent Teacher Organization invites families, students and the community to a free presentation of the award-winning film Screenagers. Through poignant and unexpectedly funny stories, along with surprising insights from authors, psychologists, and brain scientists, Screenagers reveals how tech time impacts kids’ development and offers solutions on how adults can empower kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance.
This gripping documentary is being shown around the country and sparking some great conversation among communities on the impact that excessive tech time has on young people. It is the hope of the Medford presenters that we can come together as a community to discuss ways to help our young people achieve a healthier balance with their use of technology.
The film is less than an hour in length and will be followed by a brief panel discussion led by the Medford High School administrative team.
