The City of Medford Community Connectors begin a series of events to celebrate Arab American Heritage Month with a Movie Night at the library. Presented in Bonsignore Hall will be “The Arab World, Heritage and Civilization,” a documentary produced in the framework of UNESCO’s Arabia Plan that provides an overview of the history of the rich Arab civilization. The film runs 55 minutes; light refreshments and time to meet neighbors and mingle will follow.

Other events in the series will be a Kids’ Activity Night at the library from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, and a Traditional Dress Night and Contest at Andrews Middle School from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 27.
