The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint at River’s Edge welcomes Frankie Boy & the Blue Express for a free performance on the restaurant’s patio. The North Shore-based blues band is led by front man, guitarist and songwriter Frankie Boy Blues. Frankie developed his love for music at age 11 when he received his first guitar and discovered his parents’ record collection. Artists such as Luther “Guitar Jr.” Johnson plus many more have pushed his musical boundaries and love for the blues. By age 16 he started writing original songs, developed his stage presence, as well as formed his band. Playing unique new original blues as well as some of their favorite covers. Frankie‘s style ranges from traditional blues to funk all the way to hip-hop and everything in between.
