Medford musician Glenn Dickson begins a new online live clarinet performance series, “Strange News.” Glenn will draw on his days of playing with Joe and Mat Maneri, utilizing a completely microtonal pallet, and the extended techniques he developed with the klezmer band Naftule’s Dream and David Haas. He promises it will be “more exploratory and edgy” than his “Dreams and Meditations” performances that he has been presenting over the past six months.
