Everyone is welcome at Temple Shalom’s annual party to celebrate the Festival of Lights. There will be loads of homemade latkes (potato pancakes); magic and entertainment by Jim Munsey of Munsey’s Magic; arts and crafts, including a chance to make scrap metal menorahs with artist Archie Nahman; games; and a Porter Square Books book fair.

The cost is $15 per family (cash only please) at the door and includes all food, games, entertainment and crafts. Temple Shalom will also be collecting new children’s winter clothing items to be donated to Cradles to Crayons.

Families with children 4 years old and younger are welcome to start off the celebration early, at 11:30 a.m.
