First Baptist Church of Medford continues its spring concert season with the Harvard Early Music Society presenting the North American premiere of Adolph Hasse’s S. Petrus et S. Maria Magdalena with a stellar cast and baroque string players. Elias Miller (music co-director and conductor) and Christopher Grills (music co-director and continuo) lead HEMS in their fourth joint operatic production.

The oratorio will be sung in Latin; a written translation will be provided. Cast members are Maddie Studt, St. Peter; Sierra Marcy, St. Mary Magdalene; Laura Thomas, Mary Jacobi; Leo Balkovetz, Mary Salome; and Emilie Faiella, Joseph of Arimathea.

Free admission; suggested donation $10.
