The Medford Council on Aging presents a Hispanic Heritage Luncheon with entertainment following from John Clark, who will highlight the influence of Latin American music — mostly from South America and Cuba — on American pop music. The menu will feature chicken empanadas, Pescado con Coco (white fish in coconut sauce), yellow rice and pigeon peas, plantains, glazed carrots, cornbread, and pineapple pound cake. Cost is $2 per person, with tickets available at the Senior Center starting on September 1. Supported in part by a grant from the Medford Arts Council.
