The Medford Public Library, Medford Historical Society & Museum, and Friends of the Medford Public Library continue their new History Book Group with a virtual discussion of “Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI,” by David Grann.

In 1920s Oklahoma, many members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation were dying suspicious deaths. Author Grann tells the story of the investigation that led to birth of the FBI.

The discussion will be led by Barbara Kerr, director of the Medford Public Library.

Copies of the book will be available approximately four weeks in advance. Call the library at 781-395-7950 to have a copy checked out to you for no-contact pickup.

To receive the Zoom link, you must register for the Book Group discussion through the calendar on the library’s website: https://www.eventkeeper.com/code/ekform.cfm?curOrg=MEDFORD&curID=464246
