The Medford Public Library, Medford Historical Society & Museum, and Friends of the Medford Public Library continue their History Book Group with a virtual discussion of “At Home: A Short History of Private Life,” by Bill Bryson. The author presents a fascinating history of the modern home, taking the reader on a room-by-room tour through his own house and using each room to explore the vast history of the domestic artifacts we take for granted.

The discussion will be led by Kathleen Kane, a lover of nonfiction writing and the assistant director of the Medford Public Library.
