The Medford Public Library, Medford Historical Society & Museum, and Friends of the Medford Public Library continue their History Book Group with a virtual discussion of “The Wordy Shipmates,” by Sarah Vowell. To this day, America views itself as a Puritan nation, but Vowell investigates what that means-and what it should mean in a book rich in historical fact, humorous insight, and social commentary.

The discussion will be led by Elaine Fossett Rittershaus.
