Chevalier Theatre welcomes back the Indigo Girls, the Grammy Award–winning folk rock music duo of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, this time with a full band behind them. The pair met in elementary school and began performing together as high school students in Decatur, Georgia. They started performing with the name Indigo Girls as students at Emory University more than 30 years ago. In “Look Long,” their 16th studio album, which was released in 2020, Indigo Girls tell their origin story. Tickets are $58 to $98 through the Chevalier Theatre website/Ticketmaster. Tickets also may be purchased, free of online ordering fees, at the Chevalier Theatre Box Office, which is open on Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., as well as two hours before every Chevalier Theatre show. A second performance will be presented at 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 17. The pair performed to sellout audiences at Chevalier in 2019 and 2021.
