On Tuesday, April 17, the Medford City Council will vote on whether to approve the city going out to bond for the cost of a new library building.

On Thursday, March 29, the library is holding a public information meeting to present more information on plans for a new library, for which the city has secured a $12 million grant that would cover approximately one-third of the cost. A Medford Library Foundation also has been created and will oversee a fundraising campaign to secure philantrhopic donations for the project.
