FreeToday is International Mother Tongue Day, a worldwide annual observance held on February 21 to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and to promote multilingualism. Join the Medford Connects City Connectors for a celebration at the library. Light refreshments will be served. This year marks the silver jubilee celebration of International Mother Language Day, which was first proclaimed by UNESCO in 1999 and then was adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2002.
