Juventas New Music Ensemble opens its 2024-25 concert season — its 20th — with “Limestone and Felt,” a free Neighborhood Series Concert at First Baptist Church of Medford. The program will include mesmerizing music by living composers featuring the unique pairing of cello and percussion. It will feature works by Osnat Netzer, Caroline Shaw, and Osvaldo Golijov, and performances by Timothy Peak, cello, and Thomas Schmidt, percussion. Supported in part by a Medford Arts Council grant.
