Juventas New Music Ensemble and First Baptist Church of Medford present “Reflections,” a free concert featuring the extraordinary talents of violist Lu Yu and percussionist Tom Schmidt. Juventas, led by Medford resident Oliver Caplan, is a cutting-edge chamber group that spotlights emerging voices and re-envisions classical music as a vibrant, living art form. They bring audiences music from a diverse array of composers that live in today’s world and respond to our time. “Reflections” will include music by Allison Loggins-Hull, Quinn Mason, Somei Sotoh, John Patitucci and Tigran Mansurian.
