The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint at River’s Edge welcomes “King” Solomon Hicks, a 24-year-old guitarist/vocalist from Harlem, N.Y. At age 13, Solomon started playing at New York’s famed Cotton Club as the lead guitarist in a 17-piece band, and he continues to perform there as well as other clubs around New York City. He has shared the stage with a wide variety of artists, from Tony Bennett to George Thorogood and The Destroyers to Jeff Beck and Ringo Starr.
