Library Movie: Jurassic Park
Friday, June 16, 2023 @ 3:00 pm
FreeThe Medford Public Library begins its summer Friday movie series with a screening of Steven Spielberg’s “Jurassic Park” (1993) in Bonsignore Hall. The film is set on the fictional island of Isla Nublar, where a wealthy businessman named John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) and a team of genetic scientists have created a wildlife park of de-extinct dinosaurs. When industrial sabotage leads to a catastrophic shutdown of the park’s power facilities and security precautions, a small group of visitors, including Hammond’s grandchildren, struggle to survive and escape the now perilous island. No registration is required.
Other films in the series will be “Jaws” on July 21 and “Back to the Future” on August 11.
