Martin Luther King Jr. Day Community Celebration

Free“MLK’s Legacy: What Does it Mean for Us Today?” is the theme for the City of Medford’s annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day community-wide gathering, designed to inspire, educate and encourage action so that we might make real Rev. King’s call to Beloved Community.
Event schedule: 10:30 a.m. – Gathering and Community Building; 11:00 a.m. – Program Begins (Mayor’s welcome, Medford High School Student Essays, and Community Conversations); 11:45 a.m. – Lunch, compliments of Chicken and Rice Guys; 12:15 p.m. – Keynote: Terry Carter, author and poet; 12:45 p.m. – Community Conversations.
