It’s National Farmers Market Week, and this week’s Medford Farmers Market will feature live music by Dexter from 3 to 5 p.m.; Ellery Klein and her fiddle/violin students from 5 to 6 p.m.; and Nate & Friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Dexter’s sound combines the simplicity of folk music with the soulful reflection of the modern singer-songwriter. Klein is a fiddler and teacher with a studio in the Medford and Belmont. Her fiddle students explore a variety of fiddle traditions from Boston to Ireland to Nepal, through traditional melodies, harmonies, creativity and improvisation. Nate (Nathaniel Coben) & Friends play a blend of old and new, from pop and R&B to jazz and everything in between.
