Eric Salt provides the musical entertainment at this week’s Medford Farmers Market, performing from 5 to 7 p.m. Known for his jangly, eclectic rock sound and memorable, well-crafted tunes, Salt has been a respected staple in the Boston rock scene since he helped found the Abbey Lounge music scene in 1997.

The market takes place at the Condon Band Shell Park from 3 to 7 p.m. every Thursday through October 17.
