The Medford Farmers Market kicks off its 12th season and its third year at the Condon Band Shell Park on Mystic Valley Parkway.

The market will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. every Thursday from June 6 through October 17 (except for Thursday, July 4) and will feature live music in addition to food and art vendors and community organizations.

The Opening Day music will be performed by Old Fox The Band, a seven-member indie-rock group from Somerville, from 3 to 5 p.m., and the quarter Verdegree from 5 to 7 p.m.

This week’s Community Table will feature representatives of the Mystic River Watershed Association, a CACHE member.
