Monday, January 18, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
FreeAll are invited to the City of Medford’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration, which will explore the ways in which Dr. King engaged community, fought for racial equity, and worked to build Black political and economic capital. The program will include Medford activists and leaders such as Crystal Chandler, Terry E. Carter, David Harris, Dr. Marie Edouard-Vincent, and many others, who will guide the conversation.
The event will be broadcast on Facebook live (@MedfordHRC on Facebook), or you can register for the Zoom Webinar in advance at: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_OjeNpnqvR5u6PGQtcHFHzA
Those who register will also receive a link to watch the documentary “We Cried Power,” about which David Harris will lead a discussion during the Monday program.
