The Medford Jazz Festival invites you to join fellow music enthusiasts and students for an afternoon of jazz standards at Arts Collaborative Medford. The dynamic house band featuring  Tyson Jackson on drums, Max Ridley on bass and Jonathan Fagan on piano will open the session with fresh takes on popular songs that have only recently entered the public domain. Tyson and Max comprise one of the most sought-after rhythm sections in the Boston area and are simply a joy to play with — bring your instrument to sit in with this incredible duo! Jonathan Fagan launched the Medford Jazz Festival in October 2020 with a five-day event showcasing the cultural diversity, creativity and talent of local musicians through several virtual concerts. In-person jam sessions were initiated in December 2021, and the first in-person Jazz Festival followed in October 2022 and has continued through 2024.
