The Medford Jazz Festival presents its third jam session of the year, rescheduled from March due to a performer’s illness, at the West Medford Community Center. The house band once again features the Standard Expansion Project, which consists of Jonathan Fagan, John Dalton and Erik Van Dam. Fagan, a jazz pianist, launched the Medford Jazz Festival in October 2020 with a five-day event showcasing the cultural diversity, creativity and talent of local musicians through several virtual concerts. The final jam session of the spring will be on Saturday, May 18, also at the West Medford Community Center.
