Annie and the Fur Trappers, a Boston-based traditional jazz and blues band, presents Day One of their second annual Medford Trad Jazz Festival,  featuring traditional jazz bands from New England performing at the Condon Shell. Today’s lineup will have the Rubin Brothers starting things off at at 11 a.m., followed by the Catnip Junkies at noon, the Wolverine Jazz Band at 1 p.m., and finally, Annie and the Fur Trappers at 2 p.m.

Performing on Day Two of the festival on Sunday, August 25, will be the Seacoast Revival Early Jazz Band at 11 a.m., the 2-Bit Brass Band at 11:30 a.m., the Riverboat Stompers at noon, the Smack Dabs at 1 p.m., and Josiah Reibstein and the Hub Tones at 2 p.m.

This is a free, family friendly, community event hosted by a group of local musicians. Bring a picnic and your dancing shoes.
