The Medford Family Network, in partnership with the Greater Boston Reading Council, is presenting a Character Literacy Breakfast at the McGlynn Elementary School playground. Activities will include a self-guided Story Book Walk around the playground; “Snack and Lit” kits with breakfast food, books, and literacy information; music, movement and gross motor play; and a picture-taking with literacy characters Peppa Pig and Pete the Cat. Food items will include bagels, fruit, granola bars and juice.

There will be two sessions: from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., and from 11 a.m. to noon. There is a limit of 50 children per session, and one family per session.
