Middlesex Fells History Walk
Friday, July 8, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
FreeFriends of the Middlesex Fells presents a Middlesex Fells History Walk led by Doug Heath, co-author of the book “The Lost Mill Village of Middlesex Fells.” Hike along centuries-old roads and explore quarries that produced stone used to build the Cradock Bridge over the Mystic River and walkways of the Boston Common. Along the way, learn about the creation of Bellevue Pond and the building of Wright’s Tower on Pine Hill. Participants will be able to climb up Wright’s Tower and catch great views of Boston and the surrounding environment. Meeting place is the Bellevue Pond parking lot on South Border Road. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required (no on-site registration will be permitted). Register through the Friends of the Fells event page.
