Boston-based rock ‘n’ roll band Minx comes to The Porch to celebrate the April release of its second album, “The Cloistered Order.” The power trio, together for six years now, consists of Colin Dwyer on guitar and vocals; Stephen Hart on drums, additional percussion, and background vocals; and Thomas Lada on bass, piano, organ, and background vocals. They are influenced by Judas Priest, Meat Loaf, Motorhead, Thin Lizzy, Rainbow, Aerosmith, blues and glam rock. “The Cloistered Order” is a rock opera-style concept album, meant to tell one comprehensive story from start to finish.
