Modesty Shorts brings its Errors Tour to Deep Cuts. Starting in 2017 with “It’s Not About The Music,” Modesty Shorts ambitiously took three Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge runners who had never played their respective instruments in a band before, paired them up with a couple other musicians who had, and sent them on a journey to rock out and knock out cancer. Over the years, playing to sold-out shows at Bill’s Bar, Thunder Road and The Burren, Modesty Shorts has put on a display of cover songs, covers of other peoples cover songs, and general shenanigans that has delighted fans young and old. The Errors Tour will revisit all the missed notes, flubbed solos, improper tunings and other delights of the band’s entire career (plus, some new songs too). Opening will be local singer-songwriter Billy Dodge Moody. Doors open at 7 p.m. with music starting at 8. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 day of show through Dice. Profits will benefit the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge.
