The Medford Public Library Foundation invites you to indulge your inner artist and support the new Medford library by participating in its first Paint in the Park event at the Condon Band Shell. Painters of all ages are invited to paint a 4.5-inch square title for the first art exhibition in the new Charlotte & William Bloomberg Public Library. All the tiles will be mounted and displayed at the grand opening of the library in 2021.

Clay Dreams founder Rose Mary Ardagna and owner Lorraine Frigoletto are donating all of the materials for this event, including the tiles. Registration fees of $25 per tile will benefit the new library.

There will be two one-hour Paint in the Park sessions, at noon and 2 p.m. All participants must wear masks and observe social distancing. Can’t make today’s event? The Library Foundation also is offering a Paint at Home Kit for $100 that includes four tiles, paint, palates and brushes. Materials can be home delivered or picked up at the temporary library at 200 Boston Avenue. Order from the Library Foundation website.
