The Medford Council on Aging presents “Music of World War II,” a program of John Clark’s Great American Music Experience. You’ll see and hear performed many popular political and romantic songs of the war years, including some tied to specific events and situations such as “My Sister and I” and “The Last Time I Saw Paris,” and songs of great heroism like “Comin’ In On a Wing and a Prayer” and “Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition.” Featured artists will include the Andrews Sisters, Glenn Miller, Johnny Mercer, Frank Sinatra, Spike Jones and more. Presented with support from the Medford Arts Council.
