Mystic River Celebration Arts Festival

Spend the afternoon at the Condon Shell at Medford’s biggest arts festival! Watch live musician performances, browse local artisan crafts, get to know local businesses and organizations, eat food, and take part in any number of fun activities for all ages!
This seventh annual event is the kick-off to Arts Across Medford, CACHE’s month-long arts festival during October.
The lineup of live musical performances is the bluegrass/folk/funk trio Cold Chocolate from noon to 12:40 p.m.; powerful sounds of singer-songwriter Laura Vecchione from 1 to 1:40 p.m.; jazz and blues artist Lydia Harrell from 2 to 2:40 p.m.; and reggae band Krush Faktory from 3 to 3:40 p.m.
Dance performances by Guardians of Isadora and Tufts Bhangra also will be featured.
There will be numerous opportunities to purchase, make, and appreciate art of all types. Artist vendors will sell a variety of wares including photography, jewelry, scarves, pottery, paintings, and blown glass. The Knucklebones Play area will keep children moving and playing along with activities with the Medford Family Network and other nonprofit organizations.

The Condon Shell is located at 2501 Mystic Valley Parkway, near Winthrop Street (across from St. Joseph’s Church and School). Parking is available at the Condon Shell and along Winthrop Street, but participants are encouraged to walk or ride your bike if possible.
Note: There is no rain date for this year’s festival.
