Tufts Music and the Center for Arabic Culture present the National Arab Orchestra (NAO) in its Boston premiere. The NAO performs an original film score written by founder and director Michael Ibrahim to accompany a screening of rarely seen silent films from the 1920s and 1930s by pioneering Egyptian director Mohamed Bayoumi. This event is part of a two-day symposium celebrating Arab culture and music. Co-sponsored by the Tufts Arabic program and the Center for the Humanities at Tufts.

Tickets are free with a Tufts ID (limit two per ID) and can be acquired by members of the Tufts community by calling the Granoff Music Center Box Office at 617-627-3679 or at the door while tickets last. Anyone wishing to secure these free tickets must have their ID with them at the time of purchase.
