For the second year in a row, the Medford Police Department is joining thousands of police departments across the country in presenting National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Celebrating its 40th year, National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Among the night’s many activities will be a performances by dancers from Jody’s School of Dance at 6 p.m. There also will be face painting by students from the Medford Vocational-Technical High School’s cosmetology program, and activities from the Medford Family Network.
